“Iktus” Rowing Club has been successful for almost half a century; it began operating in 1967 as “Osijek” RC, and changed the name to “Iktus” RC in 1972. Inheriting the rowing tradition that reaches back to 1892 in Osijek, in the past several years the club achieved its best results so far.
Increasing number of youth enrolls into the clubs rowing school each year, so the club wants to secure the best training conditions to young rowers by expanding and refurbishing the club HQ, securing a large enough space for boats, changing rooms and winter training spaces.
