The daily card spending limit is capped at HRK 15,000 of which HRK 4,000 can be withdrawn at ATMs
Sending of the statement of account to the provided e-mail address
The advantage of the VISA Classic credit card lays in the fact that the expenses incurred may be settled in monthly instalments, on the date you choose as the due date: 10th, 20th or 28th of a month. The minimum amount of the monthly instalment shall not be less than 5% of the expenses incurred.
If this repayment dynamics suits you, you do not even have to worry about payments because that amount is automatically charged to your current or foreign currency account each month. You can be issued a card even if you do not hold a current or a foreign currency account with OTP banka. If you do hold a current account with OTP banka, such account automatically becomes the primary settlement account, or the secondary settlement account, in case you choose your foreign currency account to be the primary one (which basically means that, in case there are no sufficient funds in your foreign currency account, any unsettled portion of the debt will be debited to your current account).
Your payment may exceed the set minimum amount, or you may choose to repay the debt in full. Each payment towards credit settlement increases the amount available for further spending, i.e. the credit amount is renewed up to the approved credit limit.
In order to provide you with a simple and effective cost control, once a month we will send you a statement of account specifying all the costs incurred. Even the payments you made abroad will be expressed in local currency on your monthly statement. You can receive your monthly statement of account to your e-mail address free of charge if you contract the service via Internet banking or in your nearest OTP banka branch!
Overview of the basic data concerning the Visa Classic credit card, turnover per credit account and overview of itemized invoice information are also available via OTPdirekt, via Internet banking or via telephone banking and calling the Contact Centre of OTP banka at 0800 210 021.
You can efficiently control the use of your card also via SMS info service.
You can make payments in respect of your credit credit in all the Bank’s branches and via Internet banking and telephone banking.
If you use Internet banking service, you can have an insight into the itemised costs, and do not need to have a hard copy of the statement delivered to your address. Of course, at your request, the itemised statement can be delivered to any address you choose.
Interest paid on revolving credit
The interest is accrued for the utilised revolving credit amount until final repayment of such revolving credit, as stipulated by Bank’s internal regulations.
Interest is not accrued for the purchases made in the current accounting period, i.e. the period lasting one month, between two revolving credit accounting dates (the last and the upcoming one).
Interest on cash advances is accrued from the date such transaction has been recorded in the Bank until the day it is settled.
However, if the minimum amount is not settled by the due date, the Bank shall charge statutory penalty interest on the outstanding amount from the due date until such amount is settled.
The amount of accrued interest is reported in the itemised invoice information and is fully included into the minimum revolving credit amount to be repaid monthly.
