Sometimes it does not take a lot to make someone smile. Sometimes a little goes a long way. Bearing this in mind, in cooperation with Mastercard, OTP banka d.d. initiated a large donation scheme named OTP Round Upi! aimed at fostering healthcare for children in Croatia, together with our clients who hold any of our Mastercard cards*. The idea is that once the service is activated, whenever they pay with their cards they round up the amounts in cents, which are then credited to the donation account set up by the Bank especially for this purpose.
The total account balance, in excess of the initially donated EUR 125.000,00, as paid by OTP banka d.d. and Mastercard, is thus increased with each transaction made by our clients at any point of sale in Croatia or online.
The collected amount will be donated to two hospitals in Croatia for the procurement of equipment necessary for children’s wards. Little patients courageously fighting their illnesses are thus provided not only a better diagnostics and care, but also a more pleasant stay in hospitals. The hospitals and the wards that will receive the donations will be clearly indicated before each before each new donation cycle, and the donation meter will show the updated account balance each day.
The more of us support the project, the more funds we will collect and contribute to better conditions in hospitals for our children. If we all join forces, their chances get better. And that’s a good reason to Round up!
*The service can be activated for all OTP banka Mastercard cards connected to current accounts in EUR or prepaid accounts.
